Prosperity Electric is proud to be part of the transformative renovation of the historic El Jardin Hotel, a 1920s-era landmark in downtown Brownsville. Once a social hub hosting luminaries like Howard Hughes and Amelia Earhart, the eight-story hotel is being reimagined into 44 affordable residential units and commercial spaces. Prosperity Electric brings a commitment to quality and community to this adaptive reuse project, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Germer Relocation project involved the renovation and transition of operations into a new commercial facility, including selective demolition and a full electrical upgrade. Prosperity Electric provided complete electrical services, including rough-in, replacement of receptacles, providing and installing new lighting fixtures and drivers, and integration of modern controls and sensor systems. Over the course of six months, our team ensured a seamless execution, delivering a reliable, efficient, and code-compliant electrical system tailored to the client’s needs. This project highlights our ability to manage complex commercial renovations while maintaining quality, coordination, and on-time performance.

Residential
This Canyon Lake residential project was a full ground-up build where Prosperity Electric provided complete electrical services from rough-in to final walkthrough. Our scope included installation of all wiring systems, panel setup, trim-out, and the placement of builder-selected light fixtures, recessed lighting, and under-cabinet lighting to enhance both functionality and design. We ensured all systems were installed to code, energy-efficient, and tailored to the homeowner’s lifestyle. From detailed planning to final inspection, our team focused on quality craftsmanship, clean installation, and seamless coordination with the builder, delivering a safe, modern, and beautifully finished home.
